Our Programs

  • Encourage the sharing of ideas, learning from others and inspiring young people to achieve their dreams and shape the society they would like to live in, while developing their critical thinking and communication skills.

  • Target youth in secondary schools, universities and institutions of higher learning as well young professionals. Giving them a platform for intellectual engagement and knowledge development through debates, dialogues, book reading and publication of articles as well as opinion pieces.

  • Involve public, private and civil society stakeholders who share in our vision of youth empowerment, societal transformation and mindset change through the exchange of ideas.

Debates

We organise debates in secondary schools, universities and other institutionsof higher learning. These enable participants to learn more about the topics of debate, express their views and listen to those of others.

Such exchanges, while equiping participants with skills such as research, critical thinking and public speaking, also strengthen the democratic fabric of the country as they promote tolerance and acknowledgement of the other.

Debate topics are selected based on relevance to societal advancement and the contribution to the country's sustainable development.

Dialogues

We give the youth an opportunity to learn from the experience, knowledge and wisdom of the older generation. Through intergenerational dialogues, both young and old come together to share experiences, opinions and ideas on select topics.

We also hold dialogues with young entrepreneurs in business, public sector and civil society, giving them a platform to tell their stories and inspire other young people who seek to follow similar paths to achieve their dreams.

Book Clubs

Through Book Clubs, we promote a reading culture among the youth enabling them to acquire knowledge in their topics of interest. As their window to the world, books also stimulate their curiosity to discover and explore what is beyond their physical and psychological borders.

This is through critical analysis of themes, characters and histories of the selected books, with the support of experienced teachers, authors and other book enthusiasts.

Publications

We give young people the platform to publish their thoughts, opinions and creative content on our website. This includes various written material such as analytical pieces related to policy, events, news as well as research) and literary work (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, open letters among others).

The publications address critical topics in society with the aim to trigger conversations that would shape minds and influence perceptions. This also nurtures the writing skills of contributors.
